86. Upon receipt of the data constituting the applications for registration and documents presented to the Land Registry Office, the Land Registrar shall verify the identity of the persons whose signatures were required for the presentation of applications by means of the public key and the signature verification certificate those persons hold. He shall ensure that the signature verification certificate of each holder, and his digital signature, are valid and that the transmitted data is intact.
Where those conditions are met, the Land Registrar so notifies the applicant.
